The Firm recovered over Three Million Dollars on behalf of our personal injury clients during the month of August.
Cases included:
- A $800,000 settlement against a Chicagoland assisted living facility who failed to properly secure our client’s electric wheelchair while transporting him in a medical transport bus. The bus driver stopped abruptly and caused our client to fall from his wheelchair, and the electric wheelchair to fall on top of him, fracturing his hip and leg, which required surgery to repair.
- A $930,000 settlement involving a truck driver who died after the grab handle on the side of the truck’s cab broke away from the cab, causing the truck driver to fall backwards, sustaining fatal injuries. The case was settled at mediation on behalf of the surviving family members.
- A One Million Dollar judgement against a skateboard manufacturer. Our client was riding an electric skateboard when the wheels malfunctioned, causing our client to be thrown off the board, sustaining multiple fractures that required surgical intervention.
Business Litigation Results
The Firm was successful in a complete dismissal with prejudice for our client in a fraud and veil piercing lawsuit.
The Firm closed over $18 million in commercial transactions in August.
