Tim is an associate attorney at The Collins Law Firm focusing his practice on banking, finance, and commercial litigation.
Tim has extensive litigation experience representing lenders, creditors and property owners in complex legal matters including residential, commercial and mechanic’s lien foreclosures, quiet title actions, breach of contract claims, eviction proceedings, title disputes and actions for declaratory and equitable relief. His experience extends to all areas of real estate litigation including advising clients on municipal code violations, condominium law and leasing disputes.
In addition to his litigation experience, Tim represents individuals, investors and small businesses in residential and commercial real estate transactions, commercial leasing, corporate structuring and business formation.
Tim received his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School. While in law school, Tim clerked for a small insurance defense firm. Prior to joining The Collins Law Firm, he worked for a mid-sized commercial litigation firm in Chicago, Illinois concentrating in title insurance defense and creditor’s rights litigation.
Prior to law school, Tim received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a major in History.
