Also, just recently Dr. Drew Pinsky spoke with Shawn concerning a disturbing illness spreading among students at a high school in Le Roy, New York, and the connected environmental investigation currently ongoing to find a cause. Dr. Drew’s blog and available video on his investigation are available here.
Shawn is a frequent blogger on all matters concerning the environment – please see his blogs here for Pollution Law Watch. The Pollution Law Watch is a website blog written by Shawn and his fellow attorneys to provide information to families whose home or neighborhood is threatened with chemical contamination. Shawn and the firm’s co-counsel were recently featured in this Chicago Daily Law Bulletin article, referencing the creation of The Pollution Law Watch blog site, and outstanding and impressive case history in environmental pollution cases.
Shawn is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Illinois, Chicago and DuPage Bar Associations. Shawn has been honored as a finalist for the Daily Herald newspaper’s “person of the year” award for his work on behalf of the families in Lisle, Illinois to secure a safe source of drinking water after learning their groundwater had been contaminated with trichloretheylene (TCE) from a local manufacturing plant.
