  • The Firm obtained a settlement worth over $8,000,000.00 for its clients in an environmental contamination case on
    behalf of families in Urbana, Ohio, alleging two companies contaminated the groundwater (used for drinking,
    bathing, etc.), serving residents in the area, polluting it with toxic chemicals known to cause cancer (TCE, PCE).

  • The Firm reached a settlement in an environmental class action lawsuit on behalf of approximately 250 families in
    Naplate, Illinois alleging a local glass manufacturer contaminated the entire town - groundwater, soil and air -
    with arsenic.  The multi-million dollar settlement will not only compensate property owners for loss in value of
    their properties, but will also ensure the entire village has a safe drinking water supply well into the future. (May

  • The Firm reached a settlement of $16.9 million for its environmental class action clients (approx. 1,500 families in
    Lisle, Woodridge and Downers Grove, Illinois), whose drinking water was contaminated by toxic chemicals,
    including cancer causing TCE, from a nearby industrial property.  The settlement was approved by a federal court
    in Chicago on September 14, 2004.  This is one of the largest toxic tort settlements in Illinois.  (September 2004;

  • The Firm secured a $10 million settlement on behalf of its clients (186 families), in Lisle, Illinois, whose drinking
    water wells had been contaminated by toxic chemicals (TCE) from Defendants’ nearby industrial property. The $10
    million settlement is believed to be one of the highest of its type in the State of Illinois; also, the case went to trial
